Wait a minute making the MOBA optional is a financial suicide , If I was them I would never do it it's a way to give hollywood and such giants the pie to eat and be left with the crumbs . It's their world their canon messy , not making meaning or whatever doesn't matter .... If one loves the MOBA should now this will kill it , as it killed the original STARWARS all this "soft canon" and as it killed ASOIAF the whole mess with HBO , game of thrones etc now everyone is pleased with their generic dragon magic series that is called house of the dragon and till this generic soup of fanservice ends none will ever see a winds of winter book because the uncontroled growth to the generic public unconcerned with the main media takes away the significance and therefore the reason to put money workhours inspiration and resoourses to the main media. Arcane was great as the cinematics are great but at the end of it they have all one purpose to advertise the game so everyone feels inspired to play the MOBA game and that's why RIOT put so many resources to those without always getting their money back it's because they will have the profit from the attention and purchases in the game. Take out the game from the center and you kill the game then slowly and steadily all the extra "fandoms" will become instead of genious advertisement of great quality a buisness on their own . And when this happens they will end up generic and disneyfied. Arcane is so good and everyone enjoys it without netflix drags the ship for 10seasons of always llowering quality and 50spin offs because RIOT will make the money put into it from the arcane skins in the game and every other purchase done in game as a result of Arcane watching take away that and see what happens ....

In hindsight it’s actually shocking how much Spinarak and Ariados look like spiders and not insects. Like in describing their designs they are strictly insects but in reality they are pretty clearly spiders, and that is a testament to their clever designs.

I don't remember if you already mentioned it in one of the older episodes, but the way the Golden order integrated other cults in their order if they can't destroy them and they are compatible enough, but destroy the ones that aren't, remind me a lot of how christianism spread in Europe. Starting from the emperor of the Roman empire, an empire which allowed the cult of any god as long as you also practiced the cult of the emperor, they first outlawed any pagan cult that worshipped a god other than their own. To facilitate the transition, they also integrated a lot of pagan traditions and celebrations, modifying them just enough so they can be labelised as christian, but not enough that they are not familiar to the ones that used to celebrate them. I don’t really listen to podcasts often, occasionally I listen to Fear& or stuff with creators I like. I do listen to books at work or when doing other things. Been going through classics and things I enjoy. Listened to the GOT series, the whole collection of hp Lovecraft, recently blood meridian, and at this moment listening to the novelizations of the Alien series since those are some of my favorite films

I might even go as far as to say Gengar might be a decent part of the reason Poison and fairy interact the way they do, go give THE fairy Pokemon, the one with the type in the name, a weakness to its darker, more insidious counterpart, whereas before the switch, they couldn’t reasonably interact because of their typings, much like you can’t interact with your reflection in a mirror.

This was not stated but if you kill him as you would a beast, hacking and slashing madly, he lets out a beastly wail, but if you kill him honorably with the visceral attack finish he allows you to have, as a proper dual would end, he lets out the scream of a man. Furthermore, you can talk to him with the church hunter's clothes on and he will ask you whether the hunters of the church were the "honorable Spartans" he had hoped them to become, and no matter the answer, he dies peacefully. First time I tried this game, it was handed out for free one month for PS Plus members. The first werewolf thing you come across, I killed with my bare hands, and proceeded into Yarnham, where I killed like 3-5 more guys before finally dying. At the Hunter’s Dream (that house thing you show up at,) it took me a while to even figure out what I was supposed to do, until I eventually found my first weapons, and then continued to take even longer to figure out how to access them. I had somewhere to be that day, so about an hour or two after starting up the game for the first time, I was bored and stopped playing. 😅 I imagine that makes me worthy of being mocked by that community, with how I hear they are to people who don’t play the Soulsborne games. I suppose I’ll never truly know for myself what folks love about these games, until I give it one more try…

yes, the character designs are questionable, the cgi can be bad, and the writing can be weird at some parts in the movie but i love this musical. and thats saying something cuz i hate musicals. i actually really like how they made Victora the main character and gave her a story and just over all gave the show a story, i love how Grizabella looks in the movie and its because to me she looks the most like the live shows because she has the fluff on her face so i feel like they should of done the fluff on everyone.

I love how it turns out… that the bug is not a metaphor… it’s just Powder/Jinx being weird… even from a young age… because she does it in the show as an adult LOL.

As someone who had a huge phobia of horses, I've never been able to bring myself to play the dlc of Bloodborne just because I know I'll never be able to deal with Ludwig

I think one thing that people forget is that he don't really care about anything except for the happiness of everyone in nazerik so with this in mind he will kill and do as many unspeakable things if it will benefit to the goal

Recommendation: The Aunty Donna Podcast. Improvisational comedy podcast, often deranged. Totally understand if it turns out not to be your cup of tea, but I enjoy it.

Skyen - I really enjoyed this episode. The back and forth between gameplay and short analysis snippets does a great job of compromising between your traditional format and the open-ended nature of the game with many "minor" bosses being present alongside the more monumental ones. Plus, you clearly have no difficulty compressing contemplative analysis into a small window, which is obvious to me as an enjoyer of your RUclips shorts. Please know you are one of a very small cohort of online creators that I look forward to so much that I often drop whatever I'm doing to watch what you upload as soon as I see it. Your thoughtful commentary, earnest reactions, excellent pacing, and great humor are a delight. Thanks as always for the great entertainment.

One monster i wish you brought up when discussing the beasts is Father Gascoigne. Sure, he's visibly the most human boss we've encountered, even after transformation but if we are attributing agency and potentially malice to bloodborne's enemies... well, the blood starved beast seems almost completely devoid of malice. It is literally starving and a beast, something that despite having human origins does not seem to have human cognitive abilities, at least not from as far as we can gleam. Beasts in bloodborne dont seem entirely devoid of intellect and understanding but the human origin beasts don't exactly seem like even the most empathetic would be able to hold a conversation or anything. So it's hard to attribute them having nearly the same level of agency aa a human. They appear to have an agency we would ascribe to an animal, or beast, not necessarily malicious, but still dangerous. Able to be reasoned with to some extent and potentially trained in some ways but rarely genuinely trusted. Admittedly, bloodborne's beasts seema bit more intelligent than most animals, as the blood starved beast indicates a level of communal thinking, planning, and empathy animals rarely exhibit to the same extent, but still. Contrast that with Father Gascoigne and even Vicar Amelia, both of whom start as decidedly human and seem to have some human understanding of what's happening and thus can be ascribed human morality. Gascoigne is literally butchering into people when we meet him for no reason, the person he is butchering is clearly long dead, assuming they ever were a threat to him to begin with, which is likely not the case at all. Vicar Amelia seems to be deliberately transforming herself into a beast... for unclear reasons aside from maybe simple power ut provides and a religious devotion. Both are inarguably the most blatantly malicious bosses we've seen if you make a distinction between the morality applied to beasts and to humans, and arguably the most malicious even if you don't make that distinction. Just seemed like a relatively clear connection that wasn't made in my opinion but maybe that's just me ascribing different levels of morality in a way other people don't.

I would love a Valorant arcane-like adaptation but there is something super fun about the lore being exclusively cinematic and in-game voicelines that I also love… and Skyen if you ever wanted to do a Valorant character design series I would eat that up just so you know

May be a year late but I think Im still worth the two cents. I can't say this game saved me or helped me see anything that matters as who I am. I refuse to give any one thing that level of control over me. What it did do, was keep me entertained and expand my point of view on science. Now I got a bad habit with all soulslike games where I start, stop half way, make a new character a few months later and beat it. Blood borne was no different. A friend of mine bought it for me and killed everything for me until the witches of hemwick where we got stuck and i put the game down. Then i beat elden ring and remembered BB. I beat the game solo, then again, and again, and one more time. Also getting the DLC at some point. And being a big story guy I couldn't see a damn thing except the best gameplay i have ever played, so i looked up some videos. Bloodborne to me, is a story about escalation and desire of knowledge, Willem tried, failed, Lawrence tried, failed, Micholash (spelt wrong) tried, succeeded with a total loss of morals. Their goal was the same, as send humanity to great ones, yet only the depraved win and the whole race is off the backs of the people. The only way humanity will transcend itself is with grim methods, and the desire to know more will corrupt those who are smart enough to try, and kill the ignorant. Humans, are humans. We aren't meant to know or be more. Thats why my favorite ending is to replace Gerhman. Stay small and ignorant to what is really happening. Its a nice escape to me, since to do that in real life would be foolish. I dont have a way to end this, so enjoy yourselves.

I think my personal biggest problem with Seraphine is that she looks a bit too much like Kaisa. They made the same mistake they did in the KDA line in which they put two characters with a very similar silhouette in the same line and didn't changed it enough to make them distinct from each other. I really didn't liked Seraphine in the KDA line because she literally looked like Kaisa. They gave her these "wing" things and a long ponytail and they repeated that mistake here again and it didn't helped that the skins more or less got released at the same time (the music video). For me, they make their skins too similar and it is weird that it happened twice already with skins released at the same time.

Meganium should have gained the fairy type & I always mourned the loss of the leaf blade tail that Bayleaf had. Sentret is better than Furret; cutest HM user. I always loved Sudowoodu; a nice balance of cool & cute I think. Skiploom is cute & would be an amazing beanbag chair imo. I love dragonflies & Yanmega is great. Glisor is the only acceptable scorpion vampire; very cool design. Octillery always appealed to me for some reason & the original design would be a cool evolution form; potentially giving it a complimentary secondary typing. Raikou will forever be my favorite Legendary Beast. Always thought it looked cool & it is my Favorite electric type Pokemon by far. Ho-oh over Lugia.

Something no one ever seems to think ab is type advantages when saying charizard shouldve been dragon type. It resists grass and water, effectively ruining the type trio. Also seems a bit weird to give the (at the time) best type to just 1 of the starters. Feels like its cheating the players who picked squirtle or bulbasaur

Wartortle is my favorite middle stage evolution. Alolan Golem is cool to me & way better than the original design. Kleavor is better than Scizor imo. Leafeon is my favorite Evelution & I hope to see the remaining pokemon types become Evelutions. (Poison, Rock, & Ghost in particular) Kabutops is cooler than Syther & way better than Omastar to me. Always loved Aerodactyl in both the game & in the anime.
